Discover the classic open-world adventure that started it all, updated for a new generation with magnificent new lighting and environmental changes, increased draw distance, high-resolution textures, controls and aiming similar to Grand Theft Auto V, and much more.

Liberty City is where it all starts. With its increased freedom to travel anywhere and jack anyone, Grand Theft Auto III puts the core of the criminal underworld at your fingertips if you have the guts to embrace it. As soon as GTA: Vice City was launched, we captured nineteen minutes of gameplay. This way, everyone can see how the game performs on our Asus Rog 6 Pro testing device.

In 2021, Rockstar remastered Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas for the Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch. These restored versions started out bad, with additional defects and glitchy graphics, but they were subsequently upgraded to fix the most critical issues. Even if these issues haven't been totally resolved for the current ports as of 2023, improved versions are now available on mobile devices, where they should have been from the start.

The GTA Definitive Edition Trilogy, which is supposedly based on previous mobile versions, is now playable on iOS and Android devices thanks to Netflix Games. With GTA's new mobile ports, we now have the definitive experience we've been waiting for.

The recording clearly shows that the remastered games have improved graphics. Improved lighting, finer textures, longer draw distances, and life-enhancing aspects similar to those found in Grand Theft Auto V are just a few examples. Despite the fact that Netflix's mobile ports were initially based on remasters that were never entirely addressed across PCs and consoles, important visual enhancements have been made, strengthening areas such as fog and lighting—some of the most noticeable flaws in the current remasters.

During our time with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, we noticed that the graphics excelled those of the PC and console versions of the game. However, I suspect that many of the graphic difficulties noted during the original release can be resolved simply by scaling down the games. The worst difficulty I experienced was with the touch-screen controls, which were absolutely unsuitable for open-world games.

The good news is that you may tailor the gameplay elements, such as driving controls and camera distance when driving, to your desired playstyle. Although not everyone has an Android-compatible controller, it appears that some games do. In the gameplay video above, I appear to be drunk because I was barely paying attention to anything other than driving my car straight.

I switched to a controller after finishing my recording, which allowed me to appreciate Vice City. I didn't come across any annoying visual artifacts or game-breaking bugs when testing the game. The remaining items in the collection have similar aesthetics but noticeably better visuals than their Play Store counterparts.
