Manilla Nobi Tamako is Nobita's mother and Nobisuke Nobi's wife. She is an essential supporting character in the Doraemon stories. She takes Nobita's test scores very seriously, even if they are usually 0. She yells at Nobita, takes away his pocket money, curses at him, kicks him out of the house and sends him elsewhere (perhaps in the future), or (occasionally) spanks him when she discovers where he hides his exam answers.
