The origination fee is either 16.6% of the accepted loan amount or $5,000, whichever is less. It is important to note that the fees will be added to the loan amount rather than deducted. This implies you'll receive the full amount of the accepted loan and pay the costs over time. If you are approved for a $50,000 loan, for example, the origination charge is $8,300. Your financing fee is $5,000 since the amount is greater than $5,000. The entire sum outstanding is $55,000.
