Tactical Combat Simulator:
You can fight in realistic, deep, intricate turn-based combat that give you a lot of control. Face intriguing decisions with no single correct answer. Weapons will break, bullets will pass through objects, bombs will demolish buildings, and wounds will not be healed quickly by magic.
The action point system offers each turn a lot of power. Choose how to apply each merc's action points to your strategy: Switch shooting modes to full auto, put your snipers on Overwatch, change positions, the option is yours!
A True Open World:
You may govern land, train local militia, lead several squads, and defend against enemy forces in an active and moving universe. Explore the landscape at your leisure, travel around, take over territory and outposts, engage enemy patrols, and halt critical convoys.
Each sector has its own hand-drawn map where fighting, exploration, and interaction with NPCs take place. The time of day, the weather, your choices, and many other factors can all have an impact on these things.
A Massive Cast of Distinctive Mercenaries:
Mercenaries can be hired from a large roster, which includes many fan favorites from prior games. Each Merc has an own personality and will respond to your actions depending on their own peculiarities and backstories. Some people will even refuse to work for you if they do not trust you or dislike one of your team members.
