Story:
Chris makes the decision to welcome Jeff, the late friend's son, to stay at his house for two weeks while he prepares to head off to college, one month after the buddy and boss passed away. Chris chooses to warn his wife about the impending danger on the eve of Jeff's move because the boy is remarkably awkward.

Despite Natasha's husband Chris's frequent claims to the contrary, Natasha is unquestionably much more subdued now than she was when they were younger. With the exception of that terrible number that appears on her birthday cake each year, she has learned to take everything with a grain of salt after becoming a housewife for eighteen years. She always wonders why this damn thing keeps getting bigger.
Chris:
Chris has strangely ceased having dreams about the few dozen individuals he killed as a hitman since he settled down and became a police officer. Today, he enjoys his routine of working from nine to five, writing fines for speeding, and spending his free time drinking beer—two at most, per his wife's request—with his few friends. He also likes to joke about his wife's late-night antics and reminisce about the good old days.
