Follow Aura's journey as she is transported into Roya's strange domain. Her darkest fear arises quickly from what she initially thought was a "summoned to another world" story with a standard premise. Because of the Demon King's curse, Aura is forced to fight every night in order to find and defeat her adversary.
Her opponents, however, are not restricted to Roya. Another foe, having obtained access through the Demon King's curse, attempts to invade Aura's mind and corrupt her from the inside out. Can Aura beat her most formidable foe, who attacks both her body and her mind, without losing herself in the process?
Gameplay:
Each in-game day is broken into three halves:
The player takes control of Aura and explores Roya's land in order to find and destroy the Demon King. She can rely on her own powers or solicit the help of others to gain strength, gather resources, and further her hunt.
However, not everyone who employs Aura does so with noble intentions. When Aura engages in obscene behavior and sacrifices her moral convictions by allowing innocent people to suffer, she gets corrupted.
The player takes control of Alicia, who has her mind altered by Aura's corruption. This involves changing her morals (making Aura more self-centered), changing her appearance (including hairdo and color changes), changing her interests, becoming more interested in fashion, and, finally, changing her sexual and romantic desires.
Cutscenes depict how Aura's true personality evolves throughout time as a result of mental illness. In the cutscenes, different character perspectives those of Aura, her boyfriend George, her closest friend Rose, and so on—are used to tell the story.
